i'm going to teach you how it is incorrect

 

imagine this you worked hard or won something and you bought a new car and have insurance on it and stuff incase it gets stolen..

your car gets stolen and you try and report it to the police but the police were corrupt and they tell you it's your fault that it got stolen because you had a nice car

so being confused at that crap you were told you try and move on and contact your insurance company they replace the car and then your next car gets stolen and this keeps happening.. then the insurance company refuses to give a new car because they claim it's bad for business yet how is that your fault?

so you try and find our online why your car keeps being stolen looking at the economy you find people resort to theft to survive so you try and find the person who stole your car and ask if they could please stop and find someone else to do it to

but they tell you it's your fault because you have victim mentality and they say "shit happens" so you try and sue the insurance company for refusing to do their job and the judge claims you need to see a counseller because you have victim mentality..

 

the moral of the story is they're all insane and there is no such thing as  victim mentality it's just an excuse people use to get out of something they did wrong to you

The problem with your story is that the victim of all those car thefts didn't do anything to further protect his own car. He only bought newer and newer ones for people to steal, wondering why doing the same thing kept bringing about the same result over and over, blaming others instead of finding ways to stop it from happening.

Lesson: Don't park your car in places where theft's so often and common, maybe buy a car that's not such an obvious target, perhaps even change your behavior instead of expecting the world around you to. People aren't going to give a crap about you unless it involves themselves in some way.

The victim mentality can be understood as a repetitive way of negative thinking where the victim has come to believe that others, not them, are responsible for their experiences and fulfilling their needs. This can be taken further to mean that the victim mentality comes from a person getting stuck in a stage of development where they feel helpless lacking access to inner resources to take care of themselves. The victim mentality produces adults that feel entitled and demand being taking care off.
 
The victim mentality is characterized by an attitude of blaming and complaining.

All of that represents you, dex, to a T.

 

You're 22 years old, still living at home and whining about your family and the things they did to you YEARS AGO. You're stuck in your childhood and it's experiences. You still see yourself as the victim, even though the abuse is no longer occurring.

If you weren't stuck with this victim mentality of yours, you would have moved out of home by now and moved on with your life, but you haven't.

You may as well paint a huge target on your back, dex, because as long as you refuse to accept responsibility for your own actions, and continue to act like a victim, people are going to treat you like one.

I never said I wasn't a hypocrite. I don't take responsibility either, but at least I'm not in dex's situation.
