Of the people who do consider themselves sociopaths, how many were regularly beat by their parents growing up? I have a theory that my ability to empathize and feel much of anything was punched and kicked out of me as I was growing up. Anyone else feel the same way?
Apparently child abuse can cause certain areas of the brain to remain underdeveloped. This was told to me by a psychologist who also works in neuroscience. So, yes, it is quite likely that abuse created a lack of empathy.
There is a lot of information online that supports this theory.

I think its kind of like how you grow a resistance to bacteria when you get sick as a child. I think I grew an immunity for emotions because the beatings and abuse was a constant barrage of emotions.
you're lucky all you got was psychical.. because psychological abuse is much worse the emotional kind is more intense than psychical
being punched by someone you love isn't as bad as being psychologically shut down to not be responsive
you get over being hit your limbs and stuff can heal but the brain doesn't heal

Is that why you make so many accounts and try to attack the forum? To emulate your mother's use of puppets?
He's like one of those girls that gets beat by her daddy, so out of anger at him, she grows up and chases after men that are just like daddy.
