Well, having only had a cursory look through the couple of first pages I can tell that you've probably had a lot of these threads. So.. well, have another!
I just took this test, scoring 4.4 for primary psychopathy, and 3.2 for secondary psychopathy; that is higher than 94.37% and 78.18% of the people that have taken the test, I also took it sometime earlier with similar results. My background for taking the test to begin with is for the most part curiosity, but I feel very partial to the issue. On one hand I completely lack social responsibility, I lack empathy, and I am generally cynical and callous. All traits of sociopathy, but perhaps not to the degree that it ought to be called as such.
I don't feel like the textbook definition of a sociopath, with no compassion, guilt, remorse, or empathy. These are all concepts that I feel I can on some level relate to, but not at a normal level I've come to suspect. I've many a time felt like I'm "wired" a bit differantly than most, my mind choosing the lawless(or "antisocial") path as the immediate logical course of action, witnessing other people react more strongly and differently than me emotionally, and that sort of thing.
It feels a bit awkward typing this out for some reason, so I'll just cut it short. Does this sound like sociopathy to you? Also, I'm curious about criteria, but as far as I can gather there's a clear lack of specific research or any consensus on the topic.
