How did you discover that you are a sociopath, and are you diagnosed?

My best friend told me I was a psychopath. I believe I fit the criteria but I don't have a diagnosis. The nut house I was in with my friend never told us what we were.

How did you discover that you are a sociopath, and are you diagnosed?

I found a sociopath badge at the bottom of a box of cheerios and now I am a sociopath.
