What's it like? How are you suposed to act?

I decided I should acccept my responsabilities for once and I'll try and be a father to my daughter, but how?

Anyone care to help me with that? What should I do?

Teach her as much as you can. You want her to represent you in a positive manner. Set her up in such a way, people will smile or be delighted to bare witness to her Father. All you gotta do is teach her. Scold her when you must, you're not her buddy, and make sure she can talk to you about anything when she's older

Pretty good advice right here. I try and follow this when trying to be a better role model for my younger sibling.

What if my morals (or lack of) rub on her? I can't really teach her how life is since well, lets say it, i'm crazy as shit.

she could even be an aspd herself since my father was one and his father before him too. Ugh so much possibilities.

Don't want to fuck this up.

Why would it be so bad if she did end up with ASPD?

I'd say no, but it's a burden, it really is. But i guess if me and her mother are loving parents this part of her will stay dormant, I know that i was a normal kid before my life went to shit.

You're very human sir. Stay concerned.

As she learns from you. (You know the rest, but I'll say for clarity) You will learn about her mid set, from her.  Work with whatever she turns out to be. If you don't want her to be like you, then you already know what to do. Just enjoy being a Father, though it won't always be nice, make the most of it, and do well for yourself, for her.

Of course the younger sibling will always think of you as 3rd in command, at least for the time being.

So in the end it's just following your gut and do like you feel like you should, sucks that my father's a moron he could have helped if he wasn't such a fuckup.

And yes when I care about something i try to do it right, since i rarely care about anything.

In most cases, we're smarter than our parents. Be aware of that. She's a descendant of a gradually older and more experienced civilization. She could possibly think of you as a moron too.

Had you're Father not taken you're point of view for granted, he'd be a better version of himself, wouldn't he ? Always be on the lookout for things you don't see about yourself.

She may or may not think you're bright, if she doesn't think so as she ages, then you're doing pretty good. The goal is to make her a better turnout than yourself, and in doing do, you'll out due yourself.

Aren't we magical beings ?
