I don't give a shit what happens to other people who get caught, but I'm against capital punishment when it comes to myself because I don't believe the law should have the power to take away my life. I know that makes me a hypocrite, considering I don't care about other people's lives, but it is my life and I value it above all others.
for serious crimes and people who learn nothing from them, do not repent, etc. sure, throw them to the pigs. I mean, you gain nothing by keeping them around.
and i hear what others are saying, the process takes too long, but better late than never, no? what's the purpose of holding on to their lives, they are not making any positive contributions to the world.
generally speaking, i'm ultra liberal, so this does seem unnatural and wrong, but the world is overpopulated as is, and if it were not for the legal system, all of these guys would have already been killed by victim's family members, friends, communities anyway.

Great point bla. Natural law, so to speak, would certainly invoke justice. Sometimes I think the bikers code is the just one. Oddly, I'm ultra liberal too. lol
by RichardParkerWhat do you think -- Yay or Nay? Should the state execute mass murderers and/or the criminally insane, or keep them locked up?
I vote for the option to deport career criminals, and if they want the option of life, then they can trade places with immigrants on the waiting list for citizenship, who want to work legal jobs as productive members of society. And let the criminals who refuse to respect laws forfeit their citizenship and work in slave labor factories to pay back their debts to victims and society.
Since the Catholic Church is against the Death Penalty and supports immigrant workers, the church can help build private prisons along the border. And house the pedophile priests there to provide ministerial support in prisons to recovering criminal addicts.
All the dangerous criminals can live out their lives in recovery and rehab, as funded by religious advocates who don't believe in capital punishment. Let each party pay for their own programs and quit charging the taxpayers for costs of other people's crimes.
