I really wanted to join the army ever since I was about 12-14. I was actually looking for local recruitment centres, did online tests to see if I was eligible and I was about to walk in to a recruitment centre. Only thing that stopped me was I realised I would be fighting enemies of the government. And I've always seen the government as an enemy.
If a soldier is in the infantry, I believe they have a greater chance of turning sociopathic, for sure. Infantry soldiers are generally low rent, bottom of the barrel type cannon fodder individuals who scored low marks on their entrance test, meaning they are more suggestible and easily influenced.
