They just are referring to a concept of a person with hyper intelligence to the point where they are able to manipulate anyone at all
Well, both experienced phsycological truama at a young age, both posses hyper intelligence that enables them to plan better, invent and problem solve and let's not forget Mr Waynes ability with the ladies
Not much evidence at his point but i reckon if I did some digging I'd find more to support this. They are both able to do this just to make the comic's more intense and allow for more interesting conflicts in the plot but if you smell smoke there's probably a fire
I'm telling you now, the Batman character is not a sociopath because he is driven by a desire to protect the innocent.
Childhood trauma can affect people in different ways. Some abused children grow up wanting to help and protect others from the pain they experienced themselves. While Others grow up with a desire to destroy the world and everyone in it.
Which path do you think Batman took?
I just gave it a google and, yeah, he is too sensitive about the welfare of Gotham city, so I guess by the book you're right. But if spending your nights in spandex breaking peoples skulls isn't considered anti-social behavior then I don't know what is
Sociopaths are not motivated by a desire to care for and protect others. That's not anti-social behavior. Batman goes after the criminals, just like the cops. Except he takes greater risks, uses more force and has a bunch of a fancy gadgets.
It's not his actions that make him non-sociopathic, but the motivation behind them.
Luna: "I don't think we as Humans are ever able to identify those who are smarter than us on a fundamental level. We have really high walls. :)"
What are you meaning by "fundamental level" exactly?
As for the whole Batman thing, he's largely depressed and compulsive more than anything as a product of childhood trauma. He can't sleep knowing crime's happening... so he doesn't. He's not a sociopath, but he seems to figure that if he allowed himself to kill, he'd become something worse.
