by MESSIAHSmiley makes a good point. I live in the States and even here a lot of the sports bars are becoming more family friendly. Helps keep the places full of people ordering food during lunch which would other wise be slow.
Right, because taking a 6 year old child to a public bar on a regular basis, where drunk and disorderly people often hang out, is much better than spending time with them where no alcohol is served at all...
I see your logic. It makes perfect sense.
By that logic you shouldn't take your kid to a football game either because after a few beers the fans get rowdy. The closest you'll get to "drunks" in a bar at lunch time is the sad old alcoholic men drinking beer at noon alone.
Given everything you've said about your own daughter I think one of the signs someone is being a good parent is when Thrill says she would do the opposite.
