are the videos loading -.-?
I don't think you've ever told me this, seeing as I only joined the forum like yesterday dude...
I can't find a clear cut link between the people in all the videos and pictures so I don't know what you're trying to tell me. They do help for evidence but I don't know what it is you're trying to prove.
"a psychopath won't go around destroying peoples love life... but a sociopath will"- It may be common sense for you but still need a source
"but still need a source" i showed the damn source http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0K7JvP0UlY

Really that's up to the person with the disorder, and the reason sociopaths do it is mainly to benefit themselves in some way, so theres no reason a psychopath wouldn't do it. It's more unheard of because psycopaths get caught earlier but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
from the yahoo article
"A sociopath is one who is affected with a personality disorder marked by
antisocial behavior. A psychopath is a person with an antisocial
personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or
amoral behavior without empathy or remorse. The two might sound the same
to some, however the differences between sociopaths and psychopaths are
very real."
That just sounds so wrong to me, because it seems like she's
implying that the only thing required to be a sociopath is being
diagnosed with ASPD. I know antisocials are often called sociopaths, but
the criteria is still different. This whole thing is like that one
regurgitated cliche; Psychopaths slaughter dozens and go to jail,
sociopaths kill a few people and get away with it.
I've read that second link before. It makes a little bit more sense. I think
if therapists consider and treat them the same, it means they are the
same. Criminologists may make a distinction, but they obviously don't
know as much about mental disorders as psychologists. With that said, I
just use the terms "sociopath" and "psychopath" interchangeably. There
might not be enough research on this, either.
