Hi everyone,

I just wanted to make this thread because it isn't immediately apparent, but private chat is up. Click on a user's username in the chat in order to start a private converstaion with them. Alternatively, you can tyle "/tell username" into the chat to start a private message with someone who isn't chatting.

So, the only way you can have a private chat with someone is by clicking on them in public chat?

What if you want to privately message someone who isn't publicly chatting?

then you type: /tell theirname message

so for example.. say you want to msg me in private chat, but i'm not chatting.. you would type:

/tell luna prey hi!

tell command doesn't seem to work for usernames with spaces.

works fine for usernames without spaces.

yes I tried that with Luna's name and it didn't work either.

It's the way the command is designed to begin the message after a space.

Try with "-" or between quotations.

Strings often work like that...
