in which way?
there's a couple aspects to what i wrote
there are so many holes in our blanketed society its so hard to just point out just one.....them all seem to connect in some way(lol its more like a tear)
lets just go with shear human interaction.
thanks to technology and convenience most people do not know how to interact with others very well and can not connect on any level if at all anymore. our children grow watching tv and movies and playing video games to occupy their time almost from birth, instead of playing outside and interact with others to set a good foundation for learning how to deal with others as well as to control themselves in everyday situations. they now have a choice to immediately escape reality, greatly retarding their emotional as well as social interactive states. and with technology and conveniences growing by leaps and bounds we produce more and more drones who only really come to life behind closed doors and see other real life people as nothing more than nuisances.....
^this example is more for the prevalence of ASPD
i should be more clear that i believe Aspd and sociopathy to not be one in the same.
no not at all...
sociopaths, instead of grabbing a hammer to beat a house to rubble, they can naturally notice the weaknesses within the foundation.
just smash the right brick from the support wall and watch the whole structure come crumbling down.......
only then can we see the whole house was infested with termites anyway...
by Giaaspd is usually a product of enviroment.....
they show us the holes in our society, as the holes get bigger so do they become more prevalent......
and they are the fixers because things must be destroyed before they can be rebuilt...
sociopathy is a destructive force by definition
they destroy everything from concepts, prejudices, to lives, to societies as a whole...
It's also self-destructive.
by FineWineHow do y'all deal with each other? Rudderless, without emotion - other than that which you mimic.
AsPD does not mean 'no emotion'. A lot of people with AsPD have problems with anger and other overlapping issues, such as depression and anxiety disorders, and that doesn't include other possible co-existing personality disorders.
Someone opined that aspd is a "next" evolutionary step - shedding "useless/unnecessary" emotions. Lol. What would result is...this forum.
AsPD is not the next evolutionary step and neither is sociopathy or psychopathy because those of us with the disorder are usually irresponsible, reckless and self-destructive to some degree or another.
Interesting. This isn't what I thought you meant so thanks for clarifying. My mental laziness may prevent an intelligent response back - lol I think you are on to something big. Our world/societies are evolving in a way that is removing people so much from the natural environment and each other. It's like we are the machines creating the matrix and ya, the geek(s) shall inherit the earth. Gotta crash and think about what you said.
