Can the senior posters of a thread designate its section, and moderate only their own topic threads to remove off topic replies.

 

Lol...I don't want to moderate my threads...lol...I'll even let you post your pseudo constructive opinions...lol...I don't need my threads to be "respectable" in order to respect them lol...

my plan is that... the members with greater than 1000 posts will feel a sense of... pride in being senior members here, and having the ability to shape the community for the better... 

say for example, hummingbird creates an intro thread... her thread was about why she thought she might be a sociopath, and so honestly... she could have put it in the sociopath related section.. now assume it is required that 5 senior members come along, and vote to move it.... it will be moved. 

voting to move a thread or not..  it's quick and simple, so i see no reason why the older members wouldn't do it just as a favor to me and my brother so that we don't have to have moderators... 

if the members with 1000 posts decide they would rather troll, then the people who are trolling will not have the community management option becasue i will revoke it, and the voting rights will go to those members who care

 You do realize that's a form of moderation, right? - Telling people where they can and can't post.

I think if I wanted to post my intro in a socio section I would have done so lol...and if 5 senior members tell me I'm doing it wrong and have the power to change what I do then I won't bother sharing anything else...lol...because I'm a narc...and I wouldn't feel welcome in the community lol...

All of the respectable senior socios will contribute to the orderly respectable socio site lol...and the self indulgent narcs like me will just post a bunch of lol...

then so be it -- this is the best idea i can come up with..
