I agree.

I haven't seen his show before but I watched this and the first thing I thought was that he is a twat.  He sells stupid people to make himself look clever.

The first girl was so impossibly stupid that I almost felt bad for her but she's a "model" and she got paid so I guess she's happy.  Her family probably hates her more now though.

The second girl was meh but I liked the part where her friend said she was lying.

Also the audience reactions of sympathetic nods and agreement was so cute.

tl;dr twats

This Dr Phil makes me want to bitchslap him. It's Jerry Springer all over again. M.E. handled Dr Phil's bad manners pretty well. I would definitely have high-five'd him in the face with the chair.

I say this thinking the show has real reactions, but my Jerry Springer senses are tingling.

And now we see the importance of punctuation.

M.E:  I have cut myself. I have scars all over my hands. It's one of the hallmarks of being a sociopath: it's difficult to learn from mistakes.

There's no punctuation in people's spoken words.

She clearly claimed cutting was a hallmark of sociopathy, which it's not.

It is because there is no punctuation in the spoken word that you can't say that conclusively.

I agree with you.

And not to mentioned how he uses a lot of techniques to minimize the guest. And "I don't need you to get..." that was just a wow for me. Also so lame "I don't understand that" when she brought up something really interesting about the study. The ending "I've put up a quiz so you can know if you've met a sociopath"... But clearly he didn't want to listen to a sociopath and clearly a quiz on the internet is not a good way of finding out. Everything taken out of context can be looked upon in all kind of ways.

I find it unbelievable that anyone would buy that kind of crap. It's amazing. I've forgot how bad tv can be. If he'd let his guest speaks it could be a really good show. But it's all about him, him, him.

He does have followers, all around the world. How can people not see he's manipulating and how can they not question his ways? I don't get it :/

However I do feel sorry for his wife. And I like Dr Phils character, as for a movie or a book.

And M.E.s point was that not learning was a sociopathic trait, and therefor didn't trust herself with knifes.
To view ones family and closest friend with some sort of love, could be away of feeling possession but with a normal approach and more like a normal person, but still different. To bad he didn't let her elaborate on that one.

Dr Phil makes me want to curl up and cry for humanity.

With the girl before ME T, you can see just how dark Dr Phil is. She really touches the truth when she says his team twists her answers just to get viewers. He can't handle the truth. He is usually very calm, but that angered him to hell and back. So he goes like me me me the great me I don't need you bitch. But he says it in this really polite way you do when you want to crush someone. "I hate to burst your bubble..." (... but you are nothing and I'm everything). Sure, she as one person doesn't change the show, but she is absolutely right, he wouldn't have a show without people to mistreat.

She really touched a nerve, because I haven't seen him that vile. He doesn't ever get that way with people who have committed horrible crimes to OTHERS. But now HE feels attacked and his true narc self slips out and screams DESTROY. He talks to murderers and that doesn't anger him. This "attack" angered him to talk in a loud, angry voice he never uses otherwise.

And THEN he is supposed to interview a sociopath? It's ridiculous. He is much older, he is famous, he as played the sociopath game longer than she has. Squish squish. LOL.

And the short clip where she says she cuts herself and that is a hallmark of sociopathy... NO, she doesn't say that in the long clip, at all.... All she says is that she lacks self preservation and doesn't learn by mistakes. I can relate to this myself. I am also fearless in situations where you should feel fear. That is a handicap and you really have to watch out. Whether it is a solely sociopathic trait I don't think so, but fearlessness sure can be part. I have this even though I am not a sociopath and it is not like he made it sound, that the goal is to do self harm. It just happens you get in trouble because your fear is not there to guide you. I am safe with knives but I almost drowned, I almost froze to death, because I am fearless of the elements. It's not like I'm looking to be harmed.

Dr Phil wins. He is the biggest narc of them all. Also, if someone really exposes him for what he is, he can just edit that out.

Why are you guys defending M.E so much?

She wouldn't know what a sociopath is if one walked up and slapped her upside the fucking head. She's just a Borderline bitch who made herself look like an idiot on that show by saying stupid shit.

Then Phil was like "Cutting isn't a sociopaths trait !"

That's because M.E claimed it was a sociopathic trait, when it's not at all, lol.

Her claiming it was made me laugh, I swear to god.

 So you believe in god?
