I know more than a few people who would love the opportunity to smack me down for free. Though, I doubt any actual smacking would be involved. There would certainly be some violence though.

I understand that you consider it a joke; it's just not funny because you're giving him attention which is exactly what he wants. I don't know how many times someone has to say that for it to be more clear.
