No, I know for a fact that not everyone thinks like me.

I hear that's good, to know this... I have trouble with it.  I think people do think like me, or should.  It's a problem with theory of mind.  Your cool cube.

I was in a hurry and didn't have time to mention- This was from Love Fraud.

I am not saying this is true or not. I just posted it because I thought it was interesting and wanted comments.

Everyone knows I love my ex to death. I do not bear him ill will. I will never bear him ill will.  I just thought it was interesting, because I had never seen it stated that way.

I think what TK says is true. Her daughter is an extension of herself. 

To a degree, this is true... but eventually they become their own person.  Are you still an "extention of your mother/father" or are you your own person?  I view my adult child much differently than my 4 year old.

I am just discussing TK's comment. 

And yes, children are an extension of us both biologically/DNA wise and behaviorally as they model what they learn.

And as they age, we should cut the cord, so to speak.

Dear Circe: i didnt see anything in your OP that touched on "love as understanding and accepting someone" or "to love is to care for someone's soul"

Could this be what is missing from the picture?

Once you have the spiritual connection, dont all the other things you listed follow naturally as an expression of love, not a condition on it.

I think it is important to love someone unconditionally , but demand respect of your love. I will love them and accept them, but i will walk away if they abuse me.
