Being attracted to someone who doesn't feel the same could be about simply wanting validation (like "look,look at me - I'm really worthy") or needing attention. The prob. is the harder you try the more annoying you'll appear to the person. Don't take it personally - you don't know what's up their ass. Best advice, give lots of space - esp if it's a man.

i'll admit to being ignorant on the socio subject, i thought that lack of empathy translated into more logical and rational thinking, heightened objectivity, but i guess not. empaths often play into their emotions and therefore act like beasts, i thought that you guys were better than that in that way, but apparently i was wrong.
