I consider myself a Constitutionalist who believes in isonomy. I tend to align with liberal/progressives on the concept of "prochoice" equally as conservatives on the idea of "limited govt" and maximizing autonomy by the people per state.I tend to align with "libertarians" and "greens". But online tests tend to lump me in with conservatives depending on how the questions are biased; I only found one test that seemed to be accurate in pegging me as libertarian/green (I believe in sustainable solutions based on consensus, not imposed by govt which ends up corrupted by party politics).
Does anyone have links to accurate tests/polls for which political party you align with?
I believe there is a deathly struggle taking place between the 1% and the 99%. I am among the 99% but I don't have much confidence in our winning. The politicians are spineless creatures that are bought and sold by the 1%. Liberals are pathetic. They are "nice" but they can't stand up to shit. It looks like the 1% want to reduce the rest of us to chattle. They seem to be living in a world of delusions as they are quickly destroying our planet. I have taught myself some detachment as to the ultimate outcome of this war. I will be glad to do as Spengler suggested in Decline of the West will the inevitable. I'm 70 years old. It's the young folk I pity. I'm so glad I don't have my whole life to life in the world as it is now.
So. What are my politics? Same as Bill Ayers. Politically: anarchist. Economically: socialist.
Look. There is no philosophical principal that justifies ownership of land. We did not create the land. How do we come to have the right to own it? But land ownership is the basis of much private wealth. The United States took land from the indigenous folk and celebrate our genocide of them every year with a turkey dinner. That really makes sense. And Israel is trying to do the same to the Palestinians.
