Like I said in my article the other day - Don't censor, just block the spam/pointless threads. That's all.

That's not moderation, that's just sweeping up the shit.

Yes, for trolls who are not part of the forum membership. Even Edvard agreed such spam should be deleted.

In this case, Hypercube asked why the longterm member kept doing this.

TK and Hypercube brought up points, and I also used posts to communicate. I wasn't just spamming.

So this was different. Wilful agreed not to post on serious threads.

And I asked about having "story threads" like Hypercube/Slimey's where it wasn't scattered.

Thanks for your help to post good topic threads and keeping those bumped up.

Was someone not already banned? That's the only reason I mentioned it. I thought Luna banned Trololo or whoever the other day. If not then disregard. I don't care how it happens I'm just tired of it.

Did you MISS the AGREEMENT made with Wilful with Hypercube and TK?

He agreed not to post in serious threads, after Hyper explained why.

Hypercube addressed Wilful and he responded.

THAT's what needed attention, and it worked.

SO THAT IS WHAT I WAS USING THOSE ID FOR. 

WE ACTUALLY HAD A CONVO TO TALK IT OUT WITH WILFUL AND WORKED OUT THE POINTS.

 Was it worth it, Emily? All this time and energy wasted on something so silly as getting Wilful to stop posting in serious threads?

I'm not thanking anyone. If he doesn't know how to behave by now then you making fake id's isn't going to solve anything but satisfy the want for attention.

If you'd like for me to actually read something and respond to it in a constructive manner then you will type it in normal case instead of all caps. I don't suffer from the inability to see.

While deleting the spam could still show he "mattered" enough to warrant that sort of action, it would still be wasted hours of his life when all that's left to show people is an idea a few people prior to the deletion saw. It would at least clutter the place less.

I still question where the line would be drawn.

Personally I'd draw the line at actual words.

"fuck you" can stay, "adgagdageg" can go.

But then Luna would have to sort through posts by hand, and I don't expect her to go out of her way to do that.
