Id like to keep the focus clearly on how to fix this legally so all parties agree it is consulting fees not extortion.

If we solve the problem and get everyone paid back, theres nothing illegal about that.

But to entice or encourage someone to violate rights can be seen as collusion or accessory on your part if actions result that are illegal.

At this point we could all be accused as liable by a lwayer trying ti make money off this.

Pfft oh please. I did befriend him. It took me all of ten minutes if that. And what exactly all was i supposed to get out of him. What what you have done?

Nothing, because I didn't give two shits about him, but if I had of, I would have least tried to learn something more about him to see what the full of extent of his use is to me.

You barely knew anything about him. What if there was something else he could have been useful for as well. Maybe you could have blackmailed him and/or extorted a larger sum of money. Or maybe he could of had useful contacts that might have come in handy to know.
