"Quantity IS quality. The more people, the more advanced we are"

LOL. Sure, everyone should have the right to reproduce like rats. Even if they're social scum and can't support themselves.

More people, more of everything. Even nazi like speculation you yourself produces becomes more abundant. On the bright side, there is a balance of more good that comes with more bad in terms of population.

Try living in the stone age. There were not that many people around.

Take away the technology, and watch our population decline and get blasted back to the wilderness. This internet makes life so much better. Computers is the result of the works of millions of people. The sheer number of us makes all this magic possible. If there were only 1 million of us, we wouldn't get half of this done, and life would be more difficult.

Quality is found in quantity.

"More people, more of everything".

Interestingly, I've found a map in which you can see the birth rates per country. I've noticed that Africa has the highest ones. On the other hand, in highly developed and industrialized countries it tends to be lower.

According to your logic, Africa, some Latin American and asian countries should be extremely developed since they have the highest birth rates, right???...but they're not. In fact, that makes their situation worse.

"Try living in the stone age. There were not that many people around".

Why would you compare the stone ages with modern times??? The conditions were extremely different. If they didn't develop technology or any advance was because the inclement conditions didn't allow our subhuman predecesors to do so. Besides, they didn't even have our same intellectual capabilities and their brains more undeveloped.

Reproduction should be a right. It's the weakest individuals who breed like rats, while the strongest ones have 1 or 2 children. Why is this??? because the strongest people have decided that quality is better than quantity.

The weak ones can't even feed their 10 or 12 children. Take a look at Africa and tell me what you see.

It is also to smart to have just a few kids, because then there are fewer pockets to go around.

Also good reason not to marry!

Let's try this.

7th) proper supply and demand waste material and "end life" product recycling.

8th) Space mining and exploration for extraterrestrial resources possibly combined with deep core mining of the planet itself.

9th) Escape into colonies due to fucking up the planet Earth.

10th) The redemption:

After hundreds of years of exploiting the neighboring planets, planetoids and comets, humanity was able to make the planet Earth habitable again and prone to another wave of multigenerational abuse by humans bickering over who stands where.

11th) The unredeemable conclusion:

Consumptionism is a guilty pleasue.

This is absolutely correct. When you have few kids, their life is going to be much better, because you'll be able to feed them and give them the education that they deserve. Now, if you have a lot of money, it's OK if you have more than two, because you'll be able to provide for them as well.

"Also good reason not to marry!"

Lol, why is that??? What do you think about marriage, Circe??? :)

Birth rate 2012 ? Infants... Try switching the demographics tab to population and not birth rate. Secondly, the industrialized nations are a diverse meeting ground for oppertunities to happen. The invironments in places like parts of Africa are very poor, some are even too toxic to mentally focus on moving forward. Let's not expect a band of smarties to pull machines from the dirt overnight, but there are smart people there. Often do they leave home and go to places like Europe and North America.

And don't be fooled into thinking all this technology that was made in the industrialized nations are always made by the, if you will, original residents. Tesla did his work in New York, and he's not from there. People from around the world come, and create. The Space programs are a collaboration of several nations.

You know Zodiac, there is something called passports and airplanes. People get around and end up living in other parts of the world. Some of which came from accross the globe.

The technology we share today is the result of countless hours divided amoungst us.

There was a Ted talk about how not 1 person in the world can build a working mouse on their own from all that is involved, the materials from the ground up to formatting them, to assembling and programming the thing. This is the same with cell phones, TV's, cars and everything else that makes life easier than ever. The precise tools we have to make things never came about overnight either. The lathe and the Mill, today we see them as CNC machines, and we use machines to make better machines. It took awhile to get to this point, and it's not just hardware based, but also software. All of the latest and greatest software available today is comprised of the old versions. As for my primary software in particular, it's said how it would take 1 man over a million years to write it on his own. The thousands of programmers software engineers and physisists who were hired to make this possible came from the depth of the people who exist. It's the people of the world who make things, not corperation. They do business and employ the people, where ever they are from hardly matters. It's what they can do.

Most people, even in Africa, do not have 10 or 12 children. There are cases of that around the world, but let's be more moderate, cause the smaller families do make up the population more than those who have kids in the double digits. When I look at Africa, I see a result of human error. Money creates poverty, we donate, they eat. It's a joke. But the food exists and it is there waiting to be shared, and there is a lot of it, and more to come. I could go on about African history, but I'm interested to know why do you think they have poverty there.

Also. What is your definition of strongest ? Do you mean to say the smartest, or richest ? In the end, when we grow old, we won't fancy all of the junk that we've accumulated or the money. Some people have gotten out of the gutter, not all of them are Rap stars, but there are cases of people rising and taking care of their family.

So many rich people are fucking dumb, same with a lot of westerners, and they still enjoy life. They still have their internet, and TV, and food and entertainment. Some become something, others do not.

Above mans law, and above the dollar and above you, Zodiac, there is nature, we are nature. Your predigest never had, and never will play a role in what nature suggests, nor does it have any influence on the very people you don't like. So power to them, and it's nothing to get upset over or complain about. The world has everything, even idiots. And when you think about it, us strong people, (you too right ?) can call them and ask them if they want to make a little 20 dollars and moe the lawn, or pull the weeds. Us humaine strong people might even sit back and blow some smoke and share a laugh with the less fortunate after giving them a little extra for doing an ok job.

You're completely ignoring the fact that your avarage educated contributor to society and science came from a small, middle or upper class family. In most families where there are lots of kids most of those kids don't achieve anything greater then maybe a lower management position at walmart or some other such job. And those are the successful ones. And yes, intelligent people do exist in africa and asia, but most of them arent educated enough to do anything about it.

You know Zodiac, there is something called passports and airplanes. People get around and end up living in other parts of the world. Some of which came from accross the globe.

This is true, but in parts of the world like africa or much of asia it is near impossible to get a passport or an exit visa and even harder to get the money needed to leave your country. Throughout history most of science has been furthered by numerous INDIVIDUALS. Not the collective. What is needed is a efficient system of education and a stable government and these individuals can flourish. Too many people has been shown to bog down the efficiency of any education system, thus making it less likely that these individuals are proporly taught. And while a higher population would make it statistically more likely that these individuals would be born it would also make it less likely that they end up in the enviroments they need to become something special rather then just wasted potential.
