Luna: can ME's signature "mask" be used as the "icon" instead of the knife?

Ed: I don't think sorting threads by topic is for "stopping trolls" but to help members focus on msgs already filtered.

It may take time to learn to stay on topic, so the first step is to organize, and then encourage staying in that section.

EX: relationship advice/counseling/recovery section would allow self-help people to focus on just those threads

psychological assessment/online tests, interpreting scores/symptoms would be for more informed discussions

religion and philosophy: again this can go very deep and in detail given the intelligence level of members here

Luna: as for trolling and also the shark bait bullying:

can there be a section for senior members who specialize in doing this so they control who is invited to post there

If trolls or new members post in the "shark tank" section it is understood they are asking to get their heads bashed in

No mediation and empathetic long posts are welcome here, if it is clear that is the intent and the posters agree to it!

can there be a section for "conflict counseling" where the relationship advice/counseling/recovery can be focused

- new members can choose to post there (where it is agreed no shark bait attacks are on these threads)

the general / unmoderated forum will remain mixed and open to any and all posts/members

[only posts that are designated for restricted areas would be self-moderated by senior members in those sections]

[I suggested a dark theme for the shark bait bullying section; and a light theme for the counseling/conflict resolution]

Luna on most forums, members have a button to "report" a spam or off topic post

So members can help self-moderate if

trolls go into the LIGHT section for conflict resolution/counseling/therapy

threads need to marked or unmarked with the ICON for SP. I think the knife is lame and wannabe-ish.

Again I suggest the white mask ME uses for her signature logo or a similar mask like the Anonymous mask.

I think that is classier looking and easier to see on computers that may be too dark for that grey knife to show up.

Damaged: TK posted a thread for you to explain why you hate her so much. Can y'all work that out because I am suggesting a Dark section for Senior Members to moderate so it helps if all of you are on the same page with it.

I will ask Circe/Maria to stay out of that section and help me organize a Light section to avoid annoyiing each other.

1. Dexter's threads were trolling not yours.

I thought you posted excellent posts. And I have no problem with you.

2. However, I saw posts that Silk did not like you OR ME disrupting their threads. Lycan and Daddy also objected to me.

So I offered for these Senior members to set up a section just for them to self-moderate posts if they want to.

I agree to stay out of there. And if they don't want you in either, that might solve the problem.

Inquirer said they tried to get you banned before. So if that's what they want, and don't want me either, I respect that!

So Circe/Maria, you and I would post in the Grey/General area but stay out of the Dark section.

Trolls like Dexter would be restricted to the Light section, unless they post something of content like your threads

that can go in the Grey/General section.

You are NOT a troll. You would have a member profile like me and be able to post freely.

The Dark section members could refuse to invite you or me in because we would interfere with shark bait attacks.

Well G-d you did your part in 6 days or ages which is 6000 years to man.

This is SUPPOSED to be the 7th day where we party for the rest of eternity.

It's a good idea but Edvard has it right. If you get to tag the thread yourself, things will happen. If moderators will choose them for us, then it would just suck.

Yes and no.

The poster could "choose" to mark their post. Luna as moderator can change the markings with the SP symbol.

Or if 1-2 members want to volunteer, they can "flag" any post they want to ask Luna to change.

It's still up to Luna to make sure it is correct. But volunteers could "flag" posts by hitting a "flag" button.

FAQ/INSTRUCTIONS or CLASSIC POSTS (like "How to be a Sociopath" by HelloTech)

I tried set up a thread for YOU/Members to post links to YOUR favorite posts, for inclusion in such a section.

If we could use that to design a game on here, where people bully each other for points,

can there be a fun section for "Comedy Counseling" or "Socio Smackdown"

but they have to exchange joke remarks and the viewing members give them likes or stars to judge the action.
