Hi everyone!
So I've been thinking of how our community looks for the users of ME's blog. It certainly looks cramped in there. Also, a lot of threads are not based around the topic of sociopathy.
I propose we create a separate section of the forum labeled Anti-personality disorder, and only threads regaruding this topic can be posted here. This section is what will be viewable to blog surfers.
By doing this, we make the relavent threads more shown within the blog window, and this should better get the attention of surfers seeking information reguarding this topic.
In that case you may want to get the spelling right and call it Antisocial Personality Disorder instead.
I would suggest including psychopathy and sociopathy with that label as well, so that people don't whine and ask, "Why isn't there a section for the psychopaths and sociopaths?"
How about
PSYCHOLOGY / Professional referrals or resources
Diagnostics, tests, assessments, reseach, cluster a b disorders eyc.
RELATIONSHIPS
advice, abuse, recovery, counseling, personal stories or backgrounds
PROFILES / How to use the site / intro posts
which members can be approached in which ateas or interests likecmusic movies books business computers etc
Dark . Light . Grey . Discussions
Dark = DEEPER LONGER DETAILED DISCUSSIONS
LIGHT - FUN light friendy sharing
Grey - mixed - posters are ok if their thread has both
So its up to the poster to "mark if they only want light replies
Or only want to keep it dark andcserious. Otherwise the default is it lands in the main area. The light floats on top. The dark msgs (like religion and philosophy or longer msgs) sink to the bottom of the screen.
Spent some more time to show how I propose this system work. Each thread will have a new button which can be clicked. After it recieves a certain number, it is then highlighted as sociopath topic and the knife will apear in the thread list.
For users browsing the community from the blog, only topics that are marked as sociopathy or antipersonality disorder related will be shown.
