Thanks Daddy I plead the First. I messed up one of Circe's threads that way. And didn't even mean to. Stupid.
However, for senseless threads that are going to roll off anyway, why not hijack them and
1. use them for target practice where we can take turns having fun with the poster (instead of turning on each other for practice)
2. start discussing real long issues on those threads to chase these ppl away who aren't interested in depth
We can still use those threads without encouraging trolling, but taking them back and making them useful.
So can that be a rule. To ignore the troll if they didn't start the message.
But if they did start a crappy thread, then hijack it and try to make something fun or useful of it.
Hacking away at the troll is perfectly acceptable, but do it right. just keep it on that thread and ignore if they post elsewhere.
