To the people who said they would rather get beaten up, would you call the police on the store owner afterwards?

To anyone, if you were the store owner, what would you do if you caught someone stealing?  Assume that you wouldn't get arrested if you beat them up instead of calling the police or letting them go.

No, I wouldn't call the police on the store owner. Once a fight is over it's over.

If I caught someone stealing from a store I owned, I'd make them give me back what they stole, even if that meant getting into a fight with them. I'm usually pretty good at getting back what people stole off me.

In our modern world you can call the police on the store owner , get a good lawyer and sue them for assault and battery. Make lots of money. That solves your food problem.

Hit store B dressed as an old man ...then kneecap the store owner when he makes a grab...get him restrained, and then take what me/my family needs at leisure.

A easily, if youre that bad off that tehft has become your only option, Then Jail wouldnt be so bad, Warm place to sleep and 3 meals a day.

I won't get caught! I steal from both stores. And if they catch me, I know the consequences and can handle with both.

It's fun reading other people about things, they dont know exactly.

Beaten up is also not beaten up. You could suffer months after beeing beaten up, or two days...
