Agreed and same but I know she'll respond that her daughter has friends etc etc. I think I've already made this statement before.
by Daddy...Homeschooling ruins childrens social development, Believe me I know... I was homeschooled.
So, you're a social retard. It's a good thing not all kids turn out like you.
When you have a kid who won't participate in class, is rude to teachers, gets into fights at school, lies that she's sick in order to come home, and you have to attend regular welfare meetings as a result, you'd take your kid out of school too.
I did what I thought was best. She does more school work now and learns more than she ever did in school.
facepalm...
great go ahead and teach your kid it can run away from all of its problems...
your kid sounds likes its already more of a social retard than even I am... and thats sayin something...
but for real, your kid sound fucked up and you're homeschooling her only reinforces that she can run away when it gets rough...
Facepalm a little harder. It might knock some sense into you.
My daughter is actually learning stuff at home that she was refusing to learn at school, but I'm sure you're right, keeping her at school, where she wasn't learning anything, would have been a much wiser choice. After all, she wouldn't turn out like a social retard like you then, would she....
I think home schooling is a great idea!! Not all children are the same, I had tons of conduct disorder, ADD, dyslexia and was just an accessory to my parent's marriage. They kept switching me in and out of schools when the problem existed in their home, they never took blame for anything.
A parent who home schools is giving a lot of themselves, time, energy and love, they are not just throwing money at the problem or giving the problem to someone else. I can't imagine the hours, energy and effort that goes into this, I don't think I could do it.
On a side note I have been a landlord for many years and it did afford me the opportunity to return to school to finish the education I was unable to receive, money is helpful but having a loving parent to see you through life and school is a true gift!
