"On the contrary, modern Japanese culture is already influenced by the west".

I wouldn't be surprised if they're already swallowing the internationalist
propaganda that some people have decided to spread all over the
world...I guess the media is doing a wonderful job there...and
everywhere.

Yes. Even Japan hates North Korea as much as the Americans do. The truth is, the North Korea never invaded anyone while the Americans and even Japanese themselves done much worse. We are all taught to dislike North Korea from the media.

"it's better for Japan to become a diverse nation, than to allow themselves to go extinct".

You're contradicting yourself. If they decided to become ''diverse'', the
original japanese culture would be extinct forever and it would be
replaced with a different one (that is extinction and it doesn't bring
diversity. It's actually a form of genocide). They can save themselves if they (the japanese people) decided to have more children.

Parts of Europe and North America and other places in the world have become diversified. Their traditions are still in tact.

Why, the British still have plenty of white folks, and then they have blacks and Asians and Indians and even specifically some Japanese folks, and the offspring of those who've moved in pick up the social norms and even the accent in their speech. With or without them, cultures will change. Japan is not ancient Japan, far from it. Their culture is extremely distinct. Japanese people like them some blue eyed white folks, with some black and indian on the side, and in my opinion they are collectively the 2nd least racist of Asian people. Japan was closed off from the world until 1856 ? 1852 ? Not very long ago. I think it would be a nice place to visit, just to experience it, but I wouldn't live there.

We should just kill all the old/non-productive members of society... problem solved.

North Korea might be fucked up, its leaders batshit controlling and insane, but look at the hand they were dealt. Always sandwhiched between at least a 2 nations that dwarf them in size, population, and military might, they've developed quite the persecution complex. Not suprising at all.

The Chinese attempted to keep control over them, especially in the north, and even took alot of what was historically korean land. Then down the line of history more, Japan tried invading them. They were nothing but a puppet held up by China and Russia for a while, after the US invaded Japan, and turned both Japan and South Korea into its bitches.

To be honest though, everyone in that little region of asia thinks they're the supreme race. Even the koreans and the chinese especially.

Yes, I agree. It is a bit surprising the amount of pride the Chinese have in their own ethnicity. When I was in China for a year, I was really shocked how the Chinese would very often allow foreigners to get away with doing things that they wouldn't allow their own Chinese, and for awhile I thought it was because they didn't want bad press which might hurt tourism, but after while, I began to realize that they don't hold foreigners to the standard they hold themselves. It's a very condescending perspective.

It's actually a very sensitive topic discussing where people are from in China. Everyone wants to claim Han. Everyone wants to speak standard Beijing mandarin. The province that I lived in was a tropical island in the south china sea called Hainan, and if I accidentally mistook a Han Chinese for a Hainanese Chinese, they would be taken aback, and they are quick to make the correction.

It's actually one of the more disturbing things about China. The feeling that in this environment, you are not equal, and those Chinese with whom you associate do not consider themselves equal to those below them, and this system is mainly based on wealth, but i'm sure it's also very much a social problem.

I had a couple room mates, and one of my room mates commented on the fact that I would wave good morning to the guard at the gate of the community we lived. Other times I've had people stand up and force me to take their seat from them, and it's not because they choose to show respect for me, but because the people who they serve consider me of higher status, and thus signals for them to move. It's very humbling, but also I think it can go to the head of many Foreigners in China.

One thing is for sure though, the non-elite really hate China. There is a lot of resentment. I studied at the University there, and what I found was a campus full of students who would gladly leave their country today if only they had the opportunity. A revolution would be futile though. The Chinese have no weapons, and yet, you see men guarding armored bank trucks with assault riffles. It would be a slaughter. This is why I'm a super strong advocate of gun's in USA!!

It's also why I'm reluctantly supportive of our pivoting against China. We're a fucked up country, but we're angels compared to them. Though we do imprison more people needlessly. How does a country with the 3rd highest population outimprison a country with twice to three times its population? And then call itself a free country.

I support gun rights. I also support being able to criticize and embarrass ones government. China is a good example of why I think that way.

Honestly, I can care less that we are fascist, its when its to the detriment of the middle class and poor that it makes me angry. I'm poor and don't like to be forcetread upon.

words are the result of a broad range of data we get from our senses that we then associate with the sound. man and woman isn't different because we choose to give them different names. they have different names because they are different from one-another in terms of the data we collect from our senses, and are therefor not classified under the same name.

No it won't... Japanese people are too awesome for an economic collapse, they'll find a way.
