This could go in hundreds of directions.

But in truth fitness is nothing more than building health habits and repeating them over and over.

In life I go off of a bad, good, better, best mentality with a focus on how it improves me mentally and physically.

A bad action would be something that goes against my goals: playing videogames is bad (as it does little to build on my 2 macro goals of intellect or physical prowess and in fact leads to stagnation). good would be going for a hike or going out dancing with friends. better would be rock climbing, biking, or kayaking, best would be gym time or backyard crossfit. You could also the same the same thing with a focus on diet...

The fitness fads will come and go whether it is tibo or p90x it is all about being active and pushing your body out of its comfort zone. But if you cultivate a healthy lifestyle along with a healthy diet... it will show in a better body.

Run 2 miles, 50 or more pull ups, 300 or or more push ups, 300 or more sit ups. Everyday

Well said.

With society in general now becoming more and more sedentary than ever, what with most families having more than one car, super addictive computer games, internet and a whole myriad of other ass dwelling "activities", there is even more need to dedicate a block of time for working out. And dont get me started on "Nutrition."

Furthermore, with scientific break through's happening all the time, in addition to knowledge at the touch of a button (since the internet) we are becoming more aware of the happenings of the world and our minds but in general our bodies are getting worse and worse.

In addition, In the future, I envisage a society as bright as Stephen Hawking but also a society as immobile as Stephen Hawking with no need for the physical body anymore.

Maybe when we reach level 5 of consciousness (or whatever) we can pysically manifest the perfect body but that is besides the point.

Ya, it's for the military. I don't rest often. Keep pushing myself and it'll make things easier
