How many religious people do we have here? I don't mean to light a flame war nor am I even expecting people to explain their reasoning.

I've personally been religious at some point. I don't think anyone in my family is. Now I'm agnostic.

I get more religious about constitutional beliefs.

I think i must have past life karma the way i go off like a mf on forums. Something to do with church state issues not resolved yet.

This did not come from my family background.

I have universalist views of restorative justice i can express using

Either psychology of recovery and healing, or the bible, or buddhism, which to me are like learning or acquiring a new language. It is just common courtesy to address ppl in the language they understand best. For concepts to be universally true for all humanity they should not depend on one chosen language but should translate in secular terms also. i dont think ppl need to convert to each others systems but just learn how to communicate and perfect the system they do use.to address any conflicts that arise. Any systems can be reconciled compatibly without converting. Thats what ive found.

Agnostic, though I lean more toward the concept of there not being any sort of god...

Thats interesting! Usually i hear of ppl who believe in both, or believe in heaven only but not hell. i know ppl who think humanity is doomed to self destruct and dont see how we can save the world. Is this whatyou mean, is it close? Like war and suffering being hell on earth.

What do you call collective love or peace and forgiveness joining people. Like the kind of peace in the midst of war and danger, which surpasses all understanding. Do you think higher peace of mind could be the nirvana or kingdom of god that ppl mean by heavenly peace. Do you believe in a collective conscience, truth or justice?

I'm agnostic. I've been both a christian and a satanist at separate times in my life and neither really did anything for me. I think the bible is just a very convincing fairy tale.

I prefer to think of myself as God.

I was raised atheist/agnostic.  I believe in a lot of stuff but only conceptually, not religiously.

I think Catholicism is really pretty though.  I've never been Catholic, but I've gone to Mass a few times because I wanted to and I used to have a crucifix that I wore because I liked it and it made me feel good.

I plan on marrying a supernatural being as we ascend into heaven from hell, one day. If being religious wins me my beast- then yes, I am so fucking religious.

You can always go fuck yourself with a crucifix while you wait. I'm sure it will be divine.

The belief of religion's answers being false might as well be their own religions. Those who follow those answers do so from the nature of belief, simply belief in a different concept or idea.

That said, I'm a Nihilist.
