So Luna
Have you managed to extract your finger from the rabbits hole yet?
Whether the measuring is done by chance or by a conscious mind doesn't matter. Any inanimate thing can "accidentally" measure particle. Quantum effects take place everywhere in the universe and isn't restricted to places where there is life. Doesn't need consciousness there anywhere.
Why is it, then, that when you measure the particals... and you don't look at the result, and then you destroy the data that was measured, and look.... you see a wave pattern?
By destroying the data before looking at the result, we can choose to make it a wave pattern. By not destroying the data, though, and looking, we find no interference pattern.
Explain that!
No that's actually not true
I presume you are talking about the quantum eraser, at least that seems to be somewhat close to what you're talking about. The reason there is a wave interference in the quantum eraser is due to the fact that there is an inherent uncertainty to linearly polarized light. The uncertainty is only apparent when polarizing the light in a direction other than the initial direction, which is why conducting the quantum eraser experiment is possible in the first place.
Quantum eraser does not measure the photon's location at any point whatsoever. If it did, the wave pattern would be destroyed.
No need for consciousness there either.
