The MMPI scale is the set of classifications of personality traits and psychopathy that the MMPI is designed to measure from a person taking the test. The number of scales is continuing growing - but there are 10 primary categories (called the Clinical Scales) that are used in the assessment of the MMPI-2 test. The results of the clinical scale have to reflect a true and accurate reflection of the patient taking the test and this is done by an additional 11 'Validity Scales' that check the results and make sure the person doing the test answered honesty and consistenty.
Here is a link to the MMPI-2 test, if any of you are interested in taking it http://geisel.narod.ru/mmpi2.htm. I thought the test had been removed some time ago, but it seems the link is working fine still.
The long form has 567 statements that you have to mark as either true or false
The short form has 370 statements.
When you take the test and post your results, make sure you mention which form you took (long or short).
By the way, when you click on score, after having completed the test, scroll down and your results will be there.
