I'm interested in reading the experiences of sociopaths discovering who they are, particularly how and when they realized the label "sociopath" applied to them, not just that they felt different or better than other people.  I'm not interested in speculation or third party commentary or some kind of out-of-your-ass-philosophy.

 Sorry AC, but doesn't it have to be out-of-my-ass if it is my own experience? 

 There is no such thing as "realizing what you are". That's like people going off to "find themselves".

You are right fucking there already, the trick is just to accept it. The label is unneccesary and just a roadblock towards that.

I suppose one could replace "sociopath" with "asshole" or "self-declared master of the universe" or "president of imaginary lands" or "fagg0rt" or "special blowflake" or "autistic" or anything else in the OP, same diff really.

How can someone 'discover they're a sociopath' if the label itself doesn't really exist and is therefore irrelevant?

 Huh? Do labels only exist if they are in the DSM?
