You are Invited (a challenge/experiment)

by Buttered Toast

...I do wonder if a majority of the psychological tests I've gone through here and there were not very indicative for sociopathy or psychopathy because I have enough impulse control.  I am not a thrill-seeker, or even violent, to that extent.  However, in most every other way, I identify with sociopathy.

In my opinion, the core traits of sociopathy are reduced fear and empathy (or lack thereof), lack of guilt and remorse and the inability to feel genuine love.

With that said, you can still care about people for selfish reasons, and I don't mean because they make you feel good on an emotional level. I mean, because they provide some form of sexual and/or financial benefit that you would possibly lose if you didn't protect what is providing it.

i will probably be in nyc  on new years.

Like you said, I don't live in the area althought I'm from New York. I think part of the fun of the Forum is people trying to guess who everyone is instead of having it all made obvious.

What the hell are you talking about?

I've replied to many people on this forum. Whether or not they got the answer they wanted is another story...

You hit quote, but then reply generically.

Explain to me what you mean by replying generically.

At the bottom of the page, it says "Reply Generically". When it references at the top "In general reply to the current topic", as opposed to "In reply to this post by [username]", it shows us you clicked to Reply Generically as opposed to Reply next to the person's post.

Except this time you clicked reply from next to my post. Must only be what you do when you click any "Quote me" links.

Well, I will have to reserve some judgment before I assume too much.  It does highlight how I have a large gaping difference between forum population and myself.  I have found a few rare people worth talking to.  It was during my growing up where most of this realization occurred.  Anyway, that's that.

Yeah, sorry, my libido is actually sort of rediculous, so I don't really relate. Sex can make for fun discussion, as it reveals things about the person that apply outside of the bedroom as well. How they talk about it, what they choose to talk about, it can show underlying details that might otherwise be completely masked.

Actually, at the bottom of the page it says "Reply Generally", not Generically, lol.
