If you could travel back in time to a past version of yourself, and only had a small gap of time to give yourself a few parting words of wisdom, what would you tell yourself, and when in your life would you be telling it to?

 I doubt I would listen to myself even if I could go back in time and give myself some parting words of wisdom. I have a bad habit of not learning from my own mistakes.

 Keep a journal, especially in the end of 04 until August 05. 

Take care of yourself better.

You don't owe him anything, least of all marriage. 

You'll do the best you can in the time before she dies but it will never feel like you did enough. It will be the night your vacation starts. She waited for you and wants you to be the one that helps her stop suffering.  This is an honor you won't understand for a long time.

 fuck that! Those are all stupid answers.....   I'd go ride a dinosaur, or maybe just go bet on some past games or lotteries. I am who I am today and accomplished what I have because of who I was then and what I had to learn and face. people are such cowardly idiots............
