What to expect next after outsmarting a sociopath (long)

The label is thrown around way too readily, and the general assumption is that a sociopath wouldn't go to a place to openly talk about it.

With how common the word's become, it's been glamorized and seen as a way to try to appear more badass.

"Oh I'm such a badass, I kill cats and bully people on the internet", only to see some break down after enough pressure.

Nevermind these guys. Most of them have got a stick up their ass, and most of them are not sociopaths, just so you know.

You are really the only one that I would believe is one anyways, because you are the only one who didn't seem to be personally offended by how I presented myself.  Which would make sense, because a true sociopath wouldn't give a fuck enough about commenting on it.  But hey, if they want to feel like a badass by acting like how they think a sociopath would act to excuse themselves for their own lackings in life, more power to them. I wasn't trying to come off a certain way or make myself sound awesome because surprisingly enough, I don't actually give a fuck what people online who I will never meet think of me.

You are quite helpful.  What do you mean by hunting?

Her at Thrill Kill: "You are really the only one that I would believe is one anyways"

Her describing sociopathic traits: "He has the stare, the power and success, the manipulation, lying, charisma, etc etc."

Yep, she totally fits the bill. No lie. Biggest sociopath here.

"because you are the only one who didn't seem to be personally offended by how I presented myself."

Wait, why would we be offended exactly?

No one is offended by your post, and the only one in this thread who thinks they are a sociopath is Thrill.

He views you as prey.

I know I said in an earlier post that he doesn't, but my opinion on that has changed now that you've given me more information.

I believe he's hunting you.

That doesn't necessarily mean he wants to rape or kill you, but I'd rate that pretty high on the list of things that may be going through his mind.

"What do you mean by hunting?"

LOL really? Fishing in the shallow end of the pool. How typical.

Prey for what? I just don't understand what the goal was.  What he was offering sounded pretty awesome, and I would have gone along with it but the fact the meeting was set up made me a bit worried.

He disappeared after calling him out, does that mean I am no longer a target as simple as that?

Not going to answer my question?

You calling him out indicates that you're smarter than he originally assumed you were. I can't answer as to whether or not he's given up though, because I don't know that. It is a possibility though.

Most predators prefer to target the weak and vulnerable because they make for easier prey. Everybody talks about wanting a challenge, but in reality, the weakest target is always the best target.

Imagine a lion hunting the zebra. The lion never targets the strongest. He'll lay there in the bushes searching for the weakest target before making his attack.

Human predators are very similar to lions in that way. Of course, we don't normally hunt other humans for food, but the motive for the hunt is just as valuable to us.

Well thanks for your help.  It's been enlightening.  Guess I'll never know what his goals were with me.  Now I wish I had played dumb longer, agh!
