I was gone for less time and had the same case happen to me. Really easy to lose track here.

Multiple new videogames and enough slow days had me fall out of the habit of checking the place.

I was under the impression you were active in May/June at least? It doesn't really matter though.

I liked the forum better during the Spring, but there seems to be more interesting characters on here lately. I was getting pretty tired of dear Daddy.

I came back in May. It was weird for me then. I was here... but I was not really here. Anyway... I'm here now, and want you in my book. So stop trying to distract me from my questions. lol

Why did you come to this forum?

Google led the way. I read the blog, found the forum and lurked on and off for a year, lol. Then I got bored and posted. History, the rest is.

What did you Google? "Sociopath"? "Lack of empathy"? "Wallflower"? :p

Probably "sociopath", seen as this blog/forum pops up rather far up in the list. I was interested in blunted affect, but I was also just curious about personality and mental disorders in general. The mind is a fickle and strange place, I've learned.

 ...and madness is a labyrinth.

Speaking of which, I guess one of the reasons I was interested in disorders was because my mother was schizophrenic. It was indeed hard to follow her train of thought sometimes.

 Was she abusive at all?

Schizophrenia was the first illness I took up study of. I was fourteen, and was trying to figure out if my mother had been wrongfully diagnosed. She is not schizophrenic.

She once wrestled me into a brier, but that's the end of the physical abuse. :) She could get pretty mad though, and often for inconceivable reasons, but it never went beyond shouting.

What diagnosis did she get? My mother has never been officially diagnosed, but she has been committed (against her will) into various homes and hospitals because she was deemed unfit to look after herself.
