 no... concepts such as duty or loyalty, etc... are nothing more than terms of manipulation. duty is something a higherr up says you must fulfill... duty is something supposedly above you... something higher... and almost always assigned to you by a superior...

 Arguably, the main issue is with the word "superior."  If we're talking about sociopaths, I doubt they see anyone as their superior, and thus above all imposed or implied duties.  They may wind up just showing us where we need to make it a duty, where the sociopath exposes the need by not abiding by one.
