 OMG,  this is something that Peake will love!  Going to post it to his author's page right now.  

 no... concepts such as duty or loyalty, etc... are nothing more than terms of manipulation. duty is something a higherr up says you must fulfill... duty is something supposedly above you... something higher... and almost always assigned to you by a superior...

 Arguably, the main issue is with the word "superior."  If we're talking about sociopaths, I doubt they see anyone as their superior, and thus above all imposed or implied duties.  They may wind up just showing us where we need to make it a duty, where the sociopath exposes the need by not abiding by one.

Care to describe those to me as you understand them?

 that was exactly my point... duty is a word used by a manipulator (i.e. sociopath) to achieve their ends... a sociopath usually sees themselves as the highest authority, therefore they commonly dictate duties to other...
