 It is referencing one for whom the bell tolls.  Does it toll for thee,  good Lycan?  

 Or, it could be construed as verbose dramatism.

The bell has tolled for me since I was cast, raging and unrepentant from my mothers chapped nipple .

Or, it couild simply be tinitus. ;-)

This one does not do as duty dictates,  but rises superior to it.  Therefore,  he brings calamity upon himself at the hands of gods and men.  This is catastrophe and self-injury.  There will be evil. 

 The first three sentences might give a sociopath justification for his actions, being above duty, but the rest would be "only if anyone finds out."  Not sure how the last sentence relates to the rest.  But, a sociopath would probably roll his eyes at it.
