Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) departments at companies deal with investments meant mainly to improve the public image of the company. These are mostly 'investments in people' through areas like Education, Economy, Philanthropy, Charities, Environment, Safety, etc. You can search for companies' CSR initiatives by googling 'Samsung CSR', 'Walmart CSR', etc.
As for financial investments of companies meant to just make money I think that is usually kept confidential. There may be types of groups that gather this info from companies (at least those made public) but I'm not sure, perhaps keep searching for similar key words like 'investment database' or 'global investment trends'..
