Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) departments at companies deal with investments meant mainly to improve the public image of the company. These are mostly 'investments in people' through areas like Education, Economy, Philanthropy, Charities, Environment, Safety, etc. You can search for companies' CSR initiatives by googling 'Samsung CSR', 'Walmart CSR', etc.

As for financial investments of companies meant to just make money I think that is usually kept confidential. There may be types of groups that gather this info from companies (at least those made public) but I'm not sure, perhaps keep searching for similar key words like 'investment database' or 'global investment trends'..

 Companies are only going to tell you about investments that allow them to grow.  When they play the markets for the sole pur[ose to make money, they're never going to tell you what they do.

 She has to aggregate the raw data. There are software platforms for that, surely...?

 I'm sure there are.  I don't know specifically what she wants or once she has it what she wants to do with it.
