Guys?
Well, I think you misunderstand some words. I don't think introvert and extravert refer to how much attention you pay to the external environment. Check out the wiki article, they refer to how you behave and express yourself, and how much you exteriorate (?) of your feelings and thoughts. I am an extravert, for example, which means I am "outgoing" and "energetic". Introverts are more "solitary" and "reserved". Introversion is not "absent mindness"/"living inside your head", which you kinda describe in your post, I think introverts can be focus on external environment, they can pay attention to what's happening around them and be forcused on reality. I think there are both introverted and extraverted sociopaths, depending on their personality. Schizoids are mostly introverted though.
I see, this is very insightful. From what I take sociopaths are very introverted, however that does not mean that they cannot have high social skills and be social geniuses. As an aspie I have come to associate introversion with poor social skills, however I guess this is not the case for sociopaths. God, would you say that you can turn your introversion off, and on based upon the task at hand?
Also perhaps during the predatory stare, your mirror neurons are working so you can mimick your prey? Finally I am not black, I just chose the name "aspienigga", because black culture has become ubiquitious to the extent where, it transcend racial boundries. However that does not mean that my dissaproval cannot manifest itself, into metaphorically placing a, metaphorical black baby into another person's stomach.
I am very introverted by nature and feel most comfortable inside of my own head, but due to the nature of my work and a strong curiosity with psychology i've learned to turn extroversion on when it is benificial to do so. it isnt my natural state but there are certainly times that it can be to your advantage to behave in such a manner...
and yes about mirror neurons... someone recently posted an article on this from the bbc you can find it if you google:bbc empathy on off switch.
fascinating piece that speculates that psychopaths can indeed feel empathy but simply have it shut off by default... it goes on to say that as you mention it facilitates their ability to manipulate their prey by emulating those emotions... internalizing them so as to better understand them.... which ultimately serves to manipulate...
"I was never trying to deceive anyone into thinking that I was black. I thought it was obviously a joke. I also thought the black baby in your belly is funny.I am a white male, and I thought it was obvious."
Well... you were wrong. And yes, your use of yet ANOTHER puppet IS obvious. If that was your intent, you were dead on.
