I actually have been to lockpicking101 before, i also watch lots of defcon videos of professionals talking about many types of security. I study and observe right now. And even in the military i will observe their methods and search out weaknesses. I want to make a better mouse trap.
As far as backtrack goes I have familiarized myself with it quite well. Still much more to learn, the certificates you mentioned are actually things I will be stopping myself on- I still be hopefully getting my ccna and a+ certification in the marines of the put me in data. I'm going to talk to my staff sargent next week and see what can fine for me to get a job in data (like him). Im trying to stay realistic and ensure that I am planning everything out and being proactive in my approach.
