Think how highly unlikely that is. Then again, if quantum suicide is correct, we live in a dimension in which our consciousness is on going for as long as possible. If so, then perhaps we live in a dimension in which such an afterlife exists and our consciousness carries on for eternity (as i burn forever in hell). Or perhaps our consciosness could be preserved forever inside a computer, who knows. (Implying such a theory is correct)
Oh I'm aware it's highly unlikely, but even a small chance is still a chance.
Just a bit scary to think, if being measured, it's more than likely for something we didn't even think of. Maybe supposed afterlife cares more for things like how far you've walked in your life, as opposed to morality.
Still banking on there being nothing after this life, but it's not like I've never been wrong before.
Thank you for the recognition.
My purpose in this place is to merely further the understanding of what it means to fight one's personal demons, in order to subdue and control them ( if necessary, kill them ) and therefore become stronger.
And don't be too harsh on Edvard. Despite his prickish attempts at diminishing other's gaslamping, he has his own way.
And that has to count for something.
Best regards.
Why would you fear something that doesn't affect you in your life, except by the actions of other people who believe that what was set before, must apply to the very moment you live in and the future you will encounter?
Judge by yourself.
I would rather be worried about how you are perceived by the same people after you die.
Becoming immortal is such a tricky affair...
It's closer to fearing what I don't know in advance. In general I don't like not being able to plan ahead properly. If there is something after all of this, then what's next is still a part of my "life". It would affect me.
Judge by myself, there's no way of knowing if it's that simple.
