In stupid people that can not think for themselves that is. If one can not logically come to a conclusion themself, then it is not worth claiming or having. Most of the people atheists cite as their inspirations are actually agnostics, the true intelligent ones, that actually came to the logical conclusion that there is no way to know whether a "god" exists or not and the origin of the universe is unknowable, but hypotheses and theories can be made.
God created the universe and god is part of the universe. The following is a 40 second video explaining this.

I am an agnostic, sad to say. It's the most logical to be, unless you had a major religious experience. The experience might at least to that person, "prove" a presence of a deity. The atheist can not prove a thing, even to himself. He can only work with what seems likely. There is no way to prove an absence.
The classic school example; Swans are white. We have only seen white ones, but not a black one. Can we prove there are no black swans? No, because you cannot prove something does not exist. However you might find one black swan and prove they do exist.
Finding a black swan is easier than to find god though... so yet again, agosticism is the real choice.
It's also the most difficult one. Us people want to know. And when we can't know, we want to guess.
Agnostic is actually also quite the trend, the "friendly middleground" that makes them sound informed when they really just hate thinking on the topic (I've even met atheists who called themselves agnostics just because of how disliked the label is). To some, religious discussion is stressful or confusing, so they go with the "anything is possible" perspective.
I find talking to agnostics of that variety very entertaining, since they are open minded enough to listen, but lack a perspective beyond not always being comfortable talking about it. They seem curious about how I opperate, but by the end of the conversation the doubt is cast on themselves instead.
Not to say this is all agnostics, some are fun in that they've done extensive research and formed their own perspective from multiple others, but some form it from having nothing to go on, or as a desperate attempt to escape their Christian upbringing.
