I have recently discovered this blog, and have recently discovered what appears to be my true nature. I always knew that I was different but just never really had or needed a label for myself.
I am in a relationship with a woman whom I want to keep in my life very much. I have never meet someone like her and am gutted at the prospect of the disolvment of "us".
Is it possible to maintain a LTR with one of us? One that is positive and fulfilling for both parties?
That's completely up to you...even if you're a sociopath you still control what you do...you just have a different way of looking at things from most people.
But you should probably end it because you're going to ruin the relationship anyway.

Thank you for the replies! I DO not have anger or self control issues-other than what would be considered normal for our kind. She cought me having multiple relationships in an online community-beleived that this was somehow a personal affront to her. Nothing to do with her-just me being me. Had she not discovered this I truly believe that we would have lived happily ever after-me mirroring her and bein the man of her dreams... or it THAT the illusion? Could we have ever galloped off into the sunset?
I think I can manage to deal with her without a gun and shovel too Tom! lol
