Wow, I just read this. I can't even imagine something like this happening in my group. Why didn't you just tell your "friends" to fuck off, right then and there? I know I would have. They would have just scrambled away immediatly, and I think yours would have done the same.

They main problem is that they're idiots and would just laugh if I told them to fuck off.  Also I use them for rides to places sometimes.

Idealy I would've used them to occupy the rest of the girl's group but the moment was ruined.

I suppose it can be. To be honest, I've never had to try, with men.

The only time I ever put real effort into a seduction was in the luring and slow corruption of a woman. She was a virgin- so I had to temper the wildness that simultaneously compelled and scared her with uncharacteristic gentleness. It was a thin line- one I'll admit I tripped over a couple of times.

I just meant that it's best to not dwell on perceived errors, but to learn from them and move on.

If a guy wants to meet women he has to put himself out there.  He has to approach women and know how to build attraction.  All a girl has to do is show a little bit of interest in the guy.  Around a week ago M.E. had a post about how she seduced a guy over dinner once and a when she contacted him a month later and he kept texting and calling her.  I was wondering why she didn't think that would happen.  Around 30 things change.  Guys keep going after women in their 20's so women have to put in some effort.

Do tell! :P

If she's not interested move on to the next one.  One of the hardest things and most important things to learn.

Because you asked, I will- but not tonight, as I am leaving very soon. I have to catch a boat somewhere in 13 hours, and have a long drive ahead. I should be sleeping, but I have an absurdly nocturnal schedule. :P

I described it here a long time ago in the comments section of the blog, but I can't remember on which post.

WTF do you mean, laugh when you are with a woman and tell them firmly to fuck off? I'd get physical with them if that happened to me. Are you sure they're just idiots and didn't do that on purpose? They would laugh only if they were out to sabotage you and had no respect for you whatsoever. If that's the group you're hanging with, man... forget those rides. Walk miles on foot rather than to be part of that. If you can't take charge of your own group, how would you be able to take charge of someone else's?

They're like the guys you see in a beer commercial.  They think and act like it.

You have a good point.  Looking back at the last couple of months I've been acting like a whimpering half-man.  I think it's because I want to quit my job and move somewhere else.  I really need a change.  I'm just coasting along.

Every year or so I go thru everything in my life and get rid of all of the stuff I don't care about.  CDs, DVDs, clothes, relationships, friends, etc.  It's time to do that again.
