 Okay, you know that consciousness floating in space I described? Imagine that all of us are just that. Now, some consciousnesses enjoy bumping into one another. It's stimulating to their emotions. For me though, I find dealing with people are usually not worth the fun I get from their company, so I, as a consciousness floating in space, choose to only "bump" into other consciousnesses when I want to do business or promote an idea

This isn't to say I don't enjoy talking to people. I really enjoy talking to you guys on this forum because I learn a lot.

I wasn't talking about us. We aren't very real. I ment the flesh and blood kind. You're not conected to them... maybe a few...less then the fingers on one hand. Like you say, connections beyond that aren't worth it.

Yes, the problem is that my parents wont buy me a car until I finish driving class-- in 2 months, I'll get a car, and then I'll be able to go out and do stuff. I just got back to USA from a year in China, so the people I knew are like gone.

 My impression is, even when you are with people you know, you almost (mental pause and hickup) have a third person perspective. Again, just my impression.
