you can believe without having faith, thats what you dont get
Well yeah, belief works in degrees, but you don't even believe yourself, you just want the results in spite of that.
You feel like questioning it is how you ruin it, which to me seems fragile.
you can believe what you want to be true, without feeling the need to prove it.
At this point, saying you no longer need sources feels more like you conceding to a loss, but stubbornly not wanting to let go of this false scenario because "feelings".
this concept seems to drive you crazy lol but for me its not an issue at all. im fine with not knowing if NDEs are accurate to what happens after death, or if there is only oblivion waiting
You've done a fair deal of cherry picked research online to further flesh out and support what you wanted to believe though.
i can believe anything since I'm already not capable of being sane enough to function and contribute to society regardless of what I believe
I mean why even split who is and isn't allowed to believe in whatever they want at that point? Why not just say everyone is entitled to believe in nonsense, and it ought to not be challenged or questioned?
so at this point yeah i should be able to choose whatever the fuck I want to believe no matter if it is deemed unrealistic by atheists, or the religious
Belief's one of those things that isn't really a choice, but rather more of a framework.
Much like building a structure, if it's rushed and flimsily done the entire thing stands to fall apart. Even people who believe in nonsense do so through applying depth to it, hence why there's been crazy rituals and super long texts to support their make believe.
Basically at this point, I see your 'beliefs' as flimsy and shallow based on how quickly they can change, and that's the part I'm going at more than the beliefs themselves. I don't think you fully buy your own hype here.
