Im not even deep or dark and I started getting mad *for her* about the issue in the makeup industry and not producing all inclusive products
like srsly, we all need to get mad about this and keep talking about it until we level the playing field because right now, it’s not where it needs to be and we should all be ashamed bye
seriously I would hire an entire team of people to do research and also provide their own opinions about the market and what people are asking for and that is their sole fucking job is just to have oversight of the products, the launches, everything the brand does, like nothing gets released or passed onto the next phase of productive before it comes through them It’s like quality control but like, more than that
and I would put people on my team exactly like her^ who are outspoken and have a clue, and I would listen to them.
At this point people are like oh it’s all about revenue and market research, but in my opinion, you’re going to make money in makeup no matter how you slice it people are buying palettes that look like tacos. Just, be the brand that gives people what the really want and stop fucking around and see what happens. And if your all inclusive dream isn’t supported then so be it find something else to do pack it up and leave then the makeup industry isn’t for you
but like at some point you have to ask yourself what kind of standards as a person you want to live by and What you want to stand for
