I need advice. IDK how to do my brows. I've tried a few times with and angled brow brush and Anastasia Beverly Hills brow powder duo , but the one I have is too dark and they just do not look good. What is a good beginner brow product I should try since I have zero skill?

Been hearing a lot of good stuff about smashbox and other priming and setting sprays that aren’t morphe lol

curious to try this setting spray

as well as LA girls... new setting priming spray looks promising

The more glowy ones no one has been pulling out because it was more of a summer vibe I guess if you want a list of the absolute best glowy setting sprays though I can certainly give you that. I think I’ve already talked about it in this thread tho but yeah if u ask u shall receive

but yeah been hearing great things about smashbox setting spray, primer, and foundation so I might have to pick those up bby gurl. Like the setting spray makes your makeup not only lock in place and oil proof but also TRANSFER proof. Like oh bitch, sign me up. And the foundation gets rid of “all insecurities” like LMAO ILL TAKE 20

also heard great things about the milk hydro grip, coverfx gripping, skin tune blur from farsali, and the elf jelly pop primer

and of course tatchas silk canvas/ elf’s dupe for it

also if you want a and a good color switch dry spray, Sonia kashuks is absolute perfection and also smells good too as a plus. Doesnt leave the brush wet and it is completely clean. Takes 0 seconds. Boom. Amazing.

this is is a beautiful eyelook but you don’t need these palettes to create it. I’m not interested in thess palettes.

And the concealer she uses, the maybelkien. Beware sometimes can look quite chalky and pasty. It’s a great formula itself like no dryness or creasing flaking etc. flawless, gorgeous, natural. Great coverage for drug store it’s above average. But... the COLORING is just off I can’t handle it. But to use for brightening like she did it’s fine and I’ve noticed the chalky pastyness of the undertone isn’t as noticeable on deeper complexions and in the deeper portion of the shade range. It’s just the lightest shades that aren’t flattering if you ur too much. It’s more of a brightening tool for that reason like she used it for in this vid.

Would be interesting to compare fenty’s brow shades to some infamous ones like benefit, Kylie and abh... always on the hunt for a good shade range I’m sure fenty’s is lit. They nail undertones like nobody’s business that’s their thing. They even have a shade for red heads. Phenomenal. Most red headed shades look pretty atrocious. But theirs looks the best I’ve seen by far.

The hank and Henry’s are a great formula, comparable to ABH. Very comfortable but still matte without being drying or crumbly. Beautiful formula. Always opaque. But this one looked a bit dusty shade wise... I didn’t like it. And I also have a hard time liking brown lips. They look pretty on other people but to me every time I look at it on the applicator about to put it on I’m like... this looks like poo! Im sorry I can’t get over that I feel... weird about it. Maybe one day I’ll be able to get past it but until this I just feel embarrassed for wearing poo on my lips :/ it looks gorgeous on other people but for me personally I just feel like everyone is thinking “poo girl” lol “poo lips” or something I dunno lol

POO MOUTH 🤮

also the hairline line in this video is bothering me. She’s a great makeup artist, flawless, but uh. She didn’t blend the foundation all the way up to the edges so it’s like a white line idk

and then the hair hair looks ashy af the foot as well just framing the face, I would of made it a touch darker with some touch up spray on a brush- or some dark shadow as they do

not sure why it looks so ashy right there and why she left that line of demarcation but it was driving me nuts lol

foundation on looks beautiful tho can’t wait to try it myself and be the TRUE JUDGE of the formula

URBAN DECAY RELEASED A NAKED HONEY PALLETTE??

it's well known among makeup artists that fingers work better than brushes for most shadow applications actually,

the closest you can get to a finger-like application without using a finger is the "fender blender" from huda beauty

https://www.shophudabeauty.com/us/en_US/eyes-%7C-fender-blender-applicator/HB00027.html

it has a foam end, which pats on the shadow really heavy and pigmented, and then a silicone tip end for applying glitters, metallics with full pigment

it was invented for this specific issue, MUA's wanted a finger-alternative to applying her stunning glitter formula

it's a little more tedious to work with than a finger because it's smaller than your finger surface area wise, but, this gives you control over where exactly the product goes better so you can do something detailed and specific.

if you don't want to splurge on a brush like this, you can find a bundle of foam tip applicators anywhere, usually any drug store or like amazon or something. in a pack of like 50, for really cheap. they won't be *as high quality* as huda's, as hers is designed to last, and be washable and reusable- where as these ones are made more for single use, and are disposable.

I haven't found a "dupe" in existence for the silicone tip end though.

peach do u like spectrum make up brushes

spectrum brushes are very high quality, they are really one of the best brands you can invest money into if you want a really fuckng good brush and you're *serious* about makeup

there are even higher end than this, but it's mainly only used by pro MUA's who, cost 5k just to hire for two hours. Very boujee and unnecessary lol

the spectrum brushes will last you a long time too, where as morphe and things like that in a lower price range don't last as long. still great brushes but, the spectrum brushes will out run them longevity wise. designed to really last through many many washes and uses etc.

very high quality, exceptional blending, very soft. morphe is like, scratchy I won't lie. they do a good job but, spectrum... feel like a feather. have a bit more weight to the handle. more density in the brush hairs.

so basically just use your fingers and then wash with soap...i mean how much is this fender bender thing
