First day of the msc done. Thought I did bad but trainer said I did great for my first time - people usually drop the bikes, etc.

Stalled a few too many times. Gotta be more steady with the throttle so bike stops jumping. Other than that I'm peachy. This shit is cake. Instructor pretty much gives you the answers to the test.

Not enough throttle when you release the clutch. Or you let go of the clutch while stopped.

When you're not speeding and just cruising go up an extra gear for lower rpm. It's better for fuel economy.

Personally I like to let the engine slow the bike while breaking and down shifting.

When on the road other cars will feel slow in the way they move. If you accelerate and the car infront of you breaks hard, it will come at you fast from your perspective.

It's the acceleration that's dangerous, in the above example if you were cruising you'd be able to avoid crashing.

Always have an escape plan. Watch your back and always know your surroundings.

Looks like an early 2000 model. Maybe 2003. They look better than the newer models in my opinion. Performance is roughly the same considering they haven't changed the engine on that bike ever.

It has a ram air duct between the headlights, which has a similar function to turbo.

Aftermarket pipe included. Be careful on that bike, it's nothing like the thing you were trained on, and just because you're able to go faster than most people, don't always do that.

Those look fast but they really aren't. I'm not sure what kind of bike that is, but it looks like a 250cc.

If you ride an R6, you will never never never appreciate anything beneath it.

Same with if you ride a 1000cc like the R1. It'll demote your appreciation for the R6.

If you get one, I would say get the starter bike.

Motorcycles aren't for everyone. For you it's worrisome cause you're bored and impulsive. You'll want to outrun everything you see. One day a sleeper will have you shifting gears at redline all the way to 6th gear and when you need to stop it'll be way too late. Prove me wrong.

Looks like a 250cc i agree. I had a ninja 650

The 600 series isnt really that overpowered for new riders in my opinion. A liter bike would probably be a bit too much at first.

As far as "once you ride a liter you wont like the 600" i disagree, the liter is great for highway and straight ways. The 600 is killer for twisties, drag some knee and elbow yo.

Some people aren't born to be blessed with tragedy in their blood.

The Ninja 650, isn't like the ZX6R Ninja, as the 650 is a sport touring bike, while the ZX6R is a 600cc class superbike, hence it's more aggressive seating position, specifications and performance output.

The Kawasaki ZX6R and the YZF-R6 act more like 700 class superbikes.

I did ride the 1200cc Harley Sportster. It's a cruiser, and it had massive torque, but it wasn't very fast at all. My EX500R would eat it in terms of speed.

As for the 250cc. After riding the 650, even you would agree going to 250cc would be unbearable. We're talking about the road here, which isn't like a track.
